2000 Lucent SuperBowl Party

"The Voices" announced today that they will make their third annual appearance at "Lucent's Superbowl Shootout" at the Isle of Capri Resort and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi on Sat, January 27th. The Concert is a highlight of a weekend that includes a Celebrity Super Bowl Viewing Party in addition to golf with NFL legends including Ken Stabler, Tom Matte, and Chris Bahr.

"Traditionally we go on about 10:00 Sat night and rock the house into the early morning Super Sunday. It's a great audience, between the NFL alumni, the corporate VIP's and the Casino's special guests. The Artists look at it as their opportunity to entertain the sports legends that have entertained them for so long. Last year we left everybody literally dancing on the tables!"

"The Voices" roster for the Superbowl Shootout show will include Larry Hoppen of Orleans, John Cafferty (and "Tunes") of John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, Bobby Kimball of Toto and Mike Reno of Loverboy. "We still have a surprise or two up our sleeves," noted Schmitt. "I expect that we may yet announce a special guest or two to this great line-up. You might call it the two-point conversion of rock and roll."

In addition to interacting with the VIP's and guests, "The Voices" also plan to record the entire show live. "We've alluded to our upcoming strategic announcements," noted Schmitt. "Critical to these endeavors are the recording and re-recording of the hits - new versions, covers, new works. We formed Rockforever.com to bring our Artists' libraries to their fans and this is a part of that process. Additionally, I expect that we'll develop some unique memorabilia product from this weekend for offering in our upcoming store. More soon!"
