Warning For Health's Sake Restrict Play Three Times Daily is a compilation of Gary U.S. Bonds' early material on producer Frank Guida's Legrand label. There has been some remixing, and some tracks are presented in stereo, but songs like Quarter To Three, School Is Out, School Is In, and Seven Day Weekend, sound much as they did on singles in the early '60s. Those are the only hits among the 13 tracks, although Bonds and Guida retain a party atmosphere throughout and one gets a greater sense of their overall style than a singles collection would provide. (Although the album does not bear a copyright date, it appears to have been released circa 1983, if only because Little Walter, who wrote the liner notes, recalls working on the tracks with Guida during Thanksgiving week 1982.)
