The documentation is vague on this compilation, which apparently contains both sides of their first three singles, some of the Atco releases (including "Respect"), and some previously unreleased material. At any rate, it certainly has the bulk of their output. It's decent mid-'60s pop/rock with some soul spice and garage raunch, and not as heavy as you might expect from a group featuring Leslie West. ? Richie Unterberger
