Streaming Audio
Studio and Live Recordings
These recordings represent some of the most important playing I have done, and in several cases, some of the best.
Some are studio recordings (indicated) where all variables were controlled (band balance, drum miking,
ambient noise), some were recorded from the mixing boards at live performances, and some were
even recorded from the TV speaker. The point is the music... and it's historical significance...
I played the drums on all of these recordings, except for Steve Gadd's perfromance on The Studio Band's "Cissy Strut".
NOTE: I have made some arbitrary decisions about the file types and sizes of these audio files.
Because the quality of the recordings was often less than perfect I have not used the compression
"hammer" on these files, as a result they are "Broadband Streaming" quality. I have only offered
them in one format - Windows Media -- because of storage limitations.
